About
BMW Club Moldova — history, mission & people
We started as a small group of like-minded people and grew into one of the most active car clubs in the country.
History
How it all began
BMW Club Moldova's history began in August 2002, when the club was officially registered in the Republic of Moldova. Founder and first president Samir Aliev brought together a small group of BMW enthusiasts into a close-knit family. That same year, the club joined the European family of BMW Clubs Europe.
The club unites BMW owners across generations — from 1970s classics to the newest models — as well as those who are just about to get their first "Bavarian". The club's goals include promoting motoring culture and the BMW brand in Moldova, technical support for owners, safe driving culture, and the development of motorsport.
Today the club brings together 44+ members across Moldova. Over more than two decades it has organised festivals, rallies and technical meetups, as well as autoslalom and drag racing competitions — remaining one of the most active car communities in the country.
